A Ghosthunters Life – Week 5

WEEK 5

GHOSTHUNTER LEVEL - 8

SIMOLIANS – 19,813

DAY 1 – MONDAY

Pyotr was not keen to get back to work after the weekend.  After waking late and rushing breakfast he was awarded with a broken shower.  Hastily he made the repairs and mopped the floor before heading off to work.

Pyotr: Why can’t I have a car?!

Dream house?

Pyotr: *sigh* I suppose.

I’m sensing a lack of enthusiasm towards the dream house!

JOB 1 – Ghostly Presence

OBJECTIVE – Find & Evict 2 Ghosts

Pyotr: Ugh! When do I get an upgrade on this thing?  It keeps cutting out!

The search was over quick and Pyotr found both ghosts at once which put him in a good mood.

Pyotr: Whoa there! Personal space ghosty!

After a little chit chat Pyotr decided to tell the ghost a funny story.  He was in a good mood and didn’t want to go straight to the Banshee.

However the ghost was NOT amused!

So, banshee it was!

That first ghost had riled him quite a bit and he had his banshee ready as he approached the second ghost.

However ghost number two was happy to chat.

Pink Ghosty: Like, you wouldn’t like, believe how much noise that wispy white old hag made!  It was like impossible to like sleep yanno. Always floating round an like rattling chains and turning on stereo an stuff.  I’m like, so glad she’s gone!  Like cheers dude!

JOB 2 – PARANORMAL INVESTIGATION

LOCATION – SPORTS STADIUM

DAY 2 – TUESDAY

Pyotr finally finished at the stadium at 3:30am so headed home

As he climbed into bed he wondered if he would ever achieve his goals.  Finally his worries gave way to restless sleep.

Pyotr had awoken with some extra time this afternoon.  As he prepared his salad I noticed he had accumulated a nice quantity of lifetime reward points so I invested them in the Dirt Defiant award.

With his hygiene levels now reducing super slow, Pyotr had time to squeeze in a little chess before work.

JOB 1 – GHOSTLY PRESENCE

OBJECTIVE – FIND & EVICT 1 GHOST

Pyotr: Only 1?  Excellent I’ll be out of here in no time!

Luckily it took him no time at all to find the spirit and cross her over.

JOB 2 – ANGRY GHOST INVASION

OBJECTIVE – EVICT 2 GHOSTS

 

Pyotr: There is only one way to deal with an angry ghost

Pyotr: Bring on the Banshee!

As he got through both of his jobs so early, (before midnight!) Pyotr was able to head home and relax.

DAY 3 – WEDNESDAY

Pyotr: I need to do this relaxing thing more often!

I am inclined to agree as he reached Level 6 Logic and got a promotion!

Pyotr is now Ghosthunter Level 9 – Outstanding Occultist and earns 2,208 simolians/week

He also managed to reach Cooking level 7.

Pyotr: Can I gain any skills from sleeping?

No.  I’m afraid not.

Pyotr: Shame.  I’m on a roll!

The early finish had not only proved productive in the skill and job area, but it also meant that Pyotr managed to get to bed early enough to enjoy part of the afternoon.

He found time to practice his scanning

As well as finish a book before it was time to head off to work.

JOB 1 – ANGRY GHOST INVASION

OBJECTIVE: EVICT 2 GHOSTS

Pyotr could see the first ghost had an attitude straight away so dispensed of her quickly.

Pyotr caught the second ghost unawares as he laughed at his fellow spirits demise.

JOB 2 – ANGRY GHOST INVASION

OBJECTIVE – EVICT 2 GHOSTS

Pyotr enjoyed the angry ghost jobs as it was a swift shot with the banshee then move on to the next.

But it was still early and the second ghost seemed a friendly sort so Pyotr decided to give him a chance.

The ghost was both witty and charming and Pyotr was easily able to cross him over.

As there were still a couple of hours of Wednesday left Pyotr decided to head off in search of spirits for an objective he had received.

After trying all the parks in town with no luck and a new day arriving he decided on one more stop.

DAY 4 – THURSDAY

As the new day began Pyotr headed to the cemetery in hope of finding a spirit.  After finding nothing he headed home.

He wolfed down a bowl of cereal then headed to bed.

Although work was going well he was still restless.  Why couldn’t he find any spirits?  Where were they all?  He would never manage to make enough for his dream house unless he found some extra spirits.

Slowly he drifted off to sleep.

Pyotr awoke in a more positive frame of mind and set about making veggie burgers before heading off to work.

JOB 1 – ANGRY GHOST INVASION

OBJECTIVE – EVICT 3 GHOSTS

As there were 3 jobs available tonight Pyotr wasted no time banishing the ghosts.  The first two were very kindly waiting for him as he came through the door.

The third appeared to see what all the fuss was about as was also quickly removed.

JOB 2 – ANGRY GHOST INVASION

OBJECTIVE – EVICT 3 GHOSTS

The second house was very small and all three ghosts were there waiting.

Pyotr: Oh man what are you eating?  It stinks!

First the yellow

Then the orange

And although the last one tried to escape Pyotr caught up with him in the garden.

DAY 5 – FRIDAY

JOB 3 – PARANORMAL INVESTIGATION

LOCATION – MILITARY BASE

After a late finish at the Military Base Pyotr did a quick spirit scan then headed home.

After a nice long sleep Pyotr found time for a bit of chess practice

And treated himself to a tub of ice cream before work.

Feeling a little guilty about eating the whole tub of ice cream

Pyotr: But it tasted so good!

He decided to run to his first job.

JOB 1 – POLTERGEIST HAUNTING

OBJECTIVE – EXORCISE 3 OBJECTS

Pyotr: At last!  Spirits!

SPIRIT 1 – FRIGHTENED/YOUNG/50 simolians

SPIRIT 2 – KIND/YOUNG/25 simolians

SPIRIT 3 – KIND/YOUNG/25 simolians

With the ice cream now sitting heavy in his stomach Pyotr took the taxi to job number two.

JOB 2 – POLTERGEIST HAUNTING

OBJECTIVE – EXORCISE 5 SPIRITS

Pyotr approached the house with a heavy heart.  This was his dream house and it had been bought and made home by someone else.  He mulled over the possibilities as he set about his work. 

Pyotr: I could save up and release all my captured spirits back into the house and scare them enough to move.

SPIRIT 1 – KIND/OLD/50 simolians

Pyotr: Maybe if I got together enough money I could persuade them to sell.

SPIRIT 2 – FRIENDLY/ANCIENT/112 simolians

Pyotr: He looks like the suspicious type, maybe if I said the house was built on an ancient burial mound.

SPIRIT 3 – JEALOUS/YOUNG/200 simolians

Pyotr: I wonder if I can get hold of a nest of army ants I could plant them in the basement.

SPIRIT 4 – KIND/YOUNG/25 simolians

Lost in his thoughts Pyotr nearly walked into the little girl that had come running up to meet him.

Pyotr: Well hello young lady and who might you be?

Little Girl: I’m Minzi are you here to make the spooky things go away?

Pyotr: Yes Minzi that’s my job.  I’m a Ghosthunter.

Minzi: Wow!  Really?  Do all ghosts make the furniture wobble?

Pyotr: Oh no, there are lots of different types of ghost some of them get very grumpy then smell like rotten eggs!

Minzi: Really! *giggle*

Pyotr: Well I must go and make sure your house is ghost free

Minzi: Oh thank you Mr Ghosthunter Sir!

Pyotr: Well how could I ever do anything to disrupt that lovely child’s home?  I guess it’s time to look for a new dream house.

SPIRIT 5 – KIND/YOUNG/25 simolians

DAY 6 – SATURDAY

With the poltergeist hauntings Pyotr has collected enough spirits to fulfil his opportunity from the Chief of Police.  So off he headed to the Outstanding Citizen Warehouse Corp to give some crooks a pretty good scare!

After stopping off at the Science facility he headed home.  Only to find a little Raccoon sniffing around his garden.

Pyotr: Come here little fella, I won’t hurt you.

I wouldn’t do that.

Pyotr: Why you little!

What?

Pyotr: It bit me!

After his small wildlife incident Pyotr made waffles then headed to bed.

By the time he wakes the sun has already begun to set.   Pyotr bakes himself a key lime pie then heads off to take a look at a house that caught his eye.

Pyotr: Well.  Here it is!

Looks nice, and hopefully cheaper than your last dream house.  That goal was looking impossible!

Pyotr: Umm, let’s take a look around

Pyotr?

Pyotr: Just a quick scan to check the garden

Pyotr?  How much?

Pyotr: Ooh look!  Lots to catch!

Are you avoiding my question?

Pyotr: Concentrating spirit to catch.

DAY 7 – SUNDAY

Looks like you got them all so spill!

Pyotr: But I only caught one? 

Pyotr!

Pyotr: Oh okay!  It may be a little more that the last house.

How much more?

Pyotr: It’s a steal!  Only 215,177 simolians

*Gulp*

Pyotr: But just take a look inside!

It’s just for you, what do you need such a big house for?

Pyotr: Well I’m sitting here and not moving till you agree.

Really Pyotr have you thought how much work this will take?

Pyotr: Sorry?  Did you say something?

Okay.  Fine.

Pyotr: Pardon?

FINE!  But you had best work your butt off!

Pyotr: Excellent!

After some tea Pyotr headed off to sleep dreaming of how he could make his fortune and afford his new dream house.

When he awoke Pyotr retrieved a package from the post box. 

He had sent all the rocks he had found off for smelting and they had just been returned.

Pyotr: If I keep collecting these I’ll have enough in no time!

With the rest of his Sunday Pyotr played chess with himself but got annoyed when he caught himself cheating.

Spent some time catching up with Jasmine.

Challenged himself to a rematch

Then spent the rest of the evening relaxing with a book.

All in all, thought Pyotr.  This has been a pretty good week!
